Distribution: SC United States, in New Mexico, 2700-3200 m above sea level; canyons and mountain slopes. 

Tufted perennial, subacaulescent. Flowering stems 7-15 cm long, erect. Leaf blades orbiculate, deeply 5-lobed. Inflorescence dense, structured from racemes. Flowers with reddish or dark rose, campanulate hypanthium, dark reddish at apex sepals and spreading, pink, 2-2.5 mm long petals. Fl. VI-VII.

Distribution: SE Canada (Ontario), NE USA (Michigan, Wisconsin); moist, sandy gravel, limestone shores of lakes. 

Stems 1-4 cm high, unbranched. Basal leaves 4-6 cm long, 0.6-0.8 cm wide, linear, slightly falcate, enlarging during fruiting. Inflorescence units 1(2)-flowered. Flowers: floral tube 1-2 cm long, funnelform, dull yellow; perianth sky blue, sepals 20–23 mm long, 8 mm wide, with claw at base, with white blotch with deep violet margin, with 3 yellow and white, toothed, low ridges; petals shorter and narrower than sepals. Fl. V.

Distribution: Bulgaria, Romania, formerly Yugoslavia, Greece; grassy places, among shrubs.

Perennial 15-30 cm high, clump-forming. Leaves 1-1.5 cm broad, falcate. Inflorescence 1-2-flowered. Flowers up to 65 mm across; perianth yellow. Fl. Spring. Very good clone.

 

Geographische Verbreitung: Bulgarien, Rumänien, ehemalige Jugoslawien, Griechenland: grasbewachsene Plätzen, unter Sträuchern. 

 

Staude 15-30 cm hoch, buschig. Blätter 1 bis 1,5 cm breit, sichelförmig. Blütenstand 1-2-blütig. Blumen bis zu 65 mm Durchmesser, gelb. Blütezeit Frühling. Sehr guter Klon.

Matten- oder niedrige Hügel bildende Staude bis 30 cm Durchmesser. Blätter 3-5 cm lang, immergrün, in Rosetten, lanzettlich bis elliptisch, manchmal verkehrt eiförmig. Blütenstiele 2-8 cm lang. Blüten einzeln an Stammspitze, aufrecht, 40-70 mm lang, trompetenförmig, tiefblau, grün gefleckt. Blütezeit V-VI.
