Perennial 5-30 cm in diameter. Rosettes globular or cup-shaped, loose. Flowers solitary, 7-9 mm diameter, pink or white, with yellow eye. Fl. spring, early summer.

Distribution: China (S Gansu, Nei Mongol, E Qinghai, W Sichuan, E Xizang), 1300-4000 m above sea level; open woodlands, gravelly slopes, dry meadows.
Perennial dense mats forming 2-8 cm in tall. Leaf rosettes 1-4 cm in diameter. Scapes solitary from rosettes. Umbels 2-10-flowered. Flowers 5-7 mm in diameter, pink. Fl. VI.
