Distribution: S Africa; grass, rocky places up to 2800 m.

Onion plant 5-12 cm tall. Flowers ca. 20 mm diameter, white-green. Fl. late spring/beg.summer. Overwinter well in climate of Central Europe.

 

Vorkommen: Südafrika; Wiesen und felsigen Stellen bis zu 2800 m über dem Meeresspiegel

Zwiebelpflanze 5-12 cm hoch. Blüten ca. 20 mm im Durchmesser, weiß und grün. Blütezeit V-VI. Pflanzen überwintern auch in einem Klima von Mitteleuropa.

Distribution: S Syberia, Central Asia, Mongolia; rocks.

Distribution: Greece, in alpine level; rock crevices.

Geographische Verbreitung: Griechenland, in der alpinen Stufe, Felsspalten.

 

Graugrüne Polsterstaude, bis 30 cm Durchmesser, 10-15 cm hoch. Blüten bis 5 mm lang, rosa, in kopfartigen Blütenstand. Blütezeit VI-VII.

Distribution: East Aegean Islands of Greece and Turkey, 1800-2500 m above sea level; grasslands, rocks.

Subshrub carpet-forming up to 5 cm in tall. Flowers small, pink. Fl. spring-summer.

 

Geographische Verbreitung: Ost-Ägäis-Inseln von Griechenland und der Türkei, 1800-2500 m über dem Meeresspiegel; Wiesen, Felsen.

Teppichbildender Halbstrauch bis zu 5 cm hoch. Blüten klein, pink. Blütezeit Frühling-Sommer.

Distribution: Turkey, 1600-1800 m.

 

Tufted perennial 2 cm tall. Leaves glaucous, linear. Flowers solitary or in pairs in bracts axils, 10 mm long, pink, V-VI.

Distribution: cosmopolitical fern, worldwide excluding Antarctica, lowlands up to mountain alpine level; rocks, rocks crevices, walls.

Longlived fern 5-25 cm high. Petioles reddish- or blackish brown, lustrous. Leaf blades up to 20 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm wide, linear in outline, simply pinnate. Rachis reddish brown throughout, flexible. Pinnae in 15-40 pairs, sessile, ovate, asymmetrical. Sporulation VII-VIII.

 

Geographische Verbreitung: kosmopolitische Pflanze, weltweit mit Ausnahme der Antarktis, Tiefland bis zu alpinem Stufe; Felsen, Wände, Mauern.

 

Langlebige Farn 5-25 cm hoch. Blattstiele rötlich oder schwärzlich braun, glänzend. Blattspreiten bis zu 20 cm lang, 0,5-1,5 cm breit, linear in Umrissen, einfach gefiedert. Rachis rotbraun ganz, flexibel. Blättchen in 15-40 Paaren, sitzend, eiförmig, asymmetrisch. Die Sporenbildung VII-VIII.

Distribution: Europe, S and E Asia, North America (mountains).

Fern 15-20 cm tall. Leaves 6-15 cm long, 1-1.2 cm wide, pinnate, leaflets (segments) 14-20 pairs, rounded or ovate, sessile.

Distribution: NE Dolomites, 700-1200 m above sea level; shady rocks, light coniferous forest, on limestone.

Perennial 8-20 cm in tall. Basal leaves bipinnatisect. Flowers 25-35 mm in diameter, usually single, rarely 2-3, white or pink. Fl. IV-V.

 

Distribution: Pyrenees, Alps, Carpathians, up to 3000 m above sea level; alpine grassland, scree, often in limestone.

Distribution: China (Gansu, Sichuan), 3500-4000 m above sea level; forests, grassy slopes. 

Perennial up to 5 cm tall. Flowers 25-30 mm diameter, white, with purple shades. Fl. V.

Distribution: Iran, Turkey, 1500-4115 m above sea level; rocky slopes, crevices, steep meadows, river banks.

Perennial rhizomatous and stoloniferous. Flowering stems 5-40 cm high, erect, thin. Flowers erect, singly or grouped 2-5. Corolla 12-30 mm long, 20-25 mm diameter, broadly funnelform, lavender-blue or pale blue-violet, glabrous. Fl. VI-VII.

Fern up to 20 cm tall. Leaves leathery, evergreen, pinnate. Valuable fern for a sunny or semi-shade places in rock gardens.

Fern von 2 bis zu 20 cm hoch. Blätter ledrig, immergrün, gefiedert. Wertvolle Farn für einen sonnigen oder halbschattigen Platz in Steingärten. Sehr winterharte Population aus Montenegro.
