Perennial up to 5 cm tall. Leaves roundig, ca. 0.5-1 cm across. Flowers solitary atop the scapes, bell-shaped, fringed at margins, white or pale lilac, inside with violet nerves. Fl. IV-V.

Staude bis zu 5 cm hoch. Blätter roundig, ca. 0,5-1 cm Durchmesser. Blüten einzeln, glockenförmig, an den Rändern weiß oder blass lila, innen mit violetten Nerven gesäumt. Blütezeit IV-V.

Shrub with procumbens stems 1-2 cm high. Leaves small, spatulate to oval, dark green, lustrous. Catkins cylindrical, appearing after leaves. Flowers yellow. Fl. spring.
